PTE Academic is a computer-based academic English language test aimed at non-native English speakers wanting to study abroad. 07. What IELTS Band Score is required?
In case of academic students, the band score required for IELTS depends on the level of course you are going for and the country you are going. Most countries would require 6.0 band to 6.5 Band score in IELTS.
08. What IELTS Score do I need for Canada?
If you are planning to Study in Canada you will need a minimum IELTS Score of 6.5Band overall with no band less than 6.0. Some courses may also require a score of 7.0 Band. If you are planning to Migrate to Canada, you would ideally required a 8+ Band Score, however your immigration consultant would be in a better position to confirm the IELTS score required as per your profile.
